A Blacklist for Bastards -- Friday, November 26, 1999
Has your man done you wrong? Kick him to the curb and let the world know here. Just met somebody? Better try to find his name here before you go home with him. I hope I don't need to tell you that I am not on this list.

Giving Thanks to Tiffany Brissette -- Friday, November 26, 1999
A page of letters from people who think they are writing to Tiffany Brissette. Tiffany played the robot girl on the 80s kidcom "Small Wonder," and this site is scarily comprehensive. They even have episodes archived in QuickTime.

The very best quote on this site -- nay, on the Internet -- is a tie between this page's "I think you could have been the next Kelly Martin in talent" and a neighboring page's "In my drawer waits a poignant guns-in-school script whose blunt message can only really work with an android." Actually, having given it some thought...

No, actually, I think this page has the best quote. -- Friday, November 26, 1999
The whole page is worth reading -- here it is in Lynx if you're offended or could be fired by naked photos -- but the best quote has to be:

Saint Theresa: "The Lord is not joking either."
Seanbaby: "You're wrong. The Lord is a pretty cool guy. One time at camp, he stuck my hand in warm water and made me pee frogs."

Utah Baby Names Compendium --
Two variations on my name appear, but "Britain" doesn't quite make the cut. This comes as little surprise to this non-Mormon, never-been-to-Utah human.

SADwyw - Hotline Search Engine --
If this doesn't convince you to download Hotline, nothing will.

Some musician named David Bowie --
The Mahir Cagri phenomenon is so last week. Anyway, I'm pretty sure this is all a bunch of crap -- look at some of the things he links to. If someone pretended to record a song as me and put it on mp3.com, I sure wouldn't be flagging people over there, much less some of the other stuff that is now on his links page, like the Mahir computer store in Indonesia.

What the internet needs is another shy, unassuming middle-aged man to turn into an unlikely sex symbol. I'd like to nominate this guy. He's got a pretty interesting-looking homepage, for a musician of his generation. Actually, I think the phenomenon is already starting -- he's got a BANK named after him, for crying out loud.

The Herbert Kornfeld Tribute Site -- Monday, November 15, 1999
Short and sweet. I was disappointed to discover that the Onion has taken Herbert's first column out of commission, but God bless this Sweda mofo for making this fly-ass index. As a bonus, here is a graphic I have made of Herbert's head in ASCII text.

All Billy Joel, all the danm time -- Sunday, November 14, 1999
A Billy Joel shoutcast channel. Live, rare, album tracks. It's all there. Not that I'm listening to it, really. I'm listening to...

Mel's United Fruitcake Outlet -- Sunday, November 14, 1999
This is my favorite Shoutcast channel. Lots of Underworld, Fatboy Slim, Prodigy, remixes, and lesser-known artists in the same vein. Highly recommended! Here's the direct address: http://24.28.108.207:8000

NME's Quote-o-Matic -- Sunday, November 14, 1999
They don't call it that, but find the link on this page, then put the window it spawns off in the corner -- hours and hours of fun as British and American pop stars spout off on everything.

DOGMA - The Early Script -- Sunday, November 14, 1999
DOGMA opened this weekend. No amount of words can substitute for actually seeing Jay and Silent Bob fighting Hell's Rollerbladers "X-Men Style," but this would make a fine way to catch lines you missed amid the laughter. WARNING: SPOILERS. It's the script, duh.

Girl Talk archives -- teenage discussion board -- Sunday, November 14, 1999
I found this while searching Google for the phrase "my religion is the Beatles," trying to identify the author of that quote, which appeared one minute in the above-mentioned NME Quote-o-Matic.

BobMould.com's WCW Discussion Board -- Sunday, November 14, 1999
A generation of Husker Du and Sugar fans come to grips with their idol's new day job -- "sports entertainment."

Toni Collette's Birthday was Monday. -- Wednesday, November 3, 1999
Okay, so it's a little late now, but still -- you should go rent one of her movies tonight. She's awesome. Once I become famous I'm going to write a role for her into a movie where she has to kiss me. Repeatedly. She was even kinda cute as a big girl in "Muriel's Wedding." Just because, here's a bonus link to a Toni fan site with all kinds of photos. Swoon!

More links. Some of them may even work. -- Wednesday, November 3, 1999
You know, I've actually been doing this weblog thing for a couple of months now. And there was a point where I was putting in two or three new ones every day. If you haven't already, now would be a fine time to go through those archives. Every time you click this link, an angel gets his winks. (Winks?)
